Educational Qualification
Supervisor-I (Operations) – D01:
Candidates should have any Engineering Degree or Engineering Diploma from a Full-Time course.
Supervisor-I (Electronics) – D02:
Candidates should have a 03 years Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent Full-Time qualification.
Supervisor-I (Electrical) – D03:
Candidates should have a 03 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Full-Time qualification.
Supervisor-I (Mechanical) – D04:
Candidates should have a 03 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Full-Time qualification.
Supervisor-I (Civil) – D05:
Candidates should have a 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent Full-Time qualification.
Junior Maintainer (Electrical) – D06:
Candidates should have an ITI (NCVT/SCVT) Certificate in Electrician trade or equivalent Full-Time qualification.
Junior Maintainer (Fitter) – D07:
Candidates should have an ITI (NCVT/SCVT) Certificate in Fitter trade or equivalent Full-Time qualification.
Junior Maintainer (RAC) – D08:
Candidates should have an ITI (NCVT/SCVT) Certificate in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning trade or equivalent Full-Time qualification.
Junior Maintainer (Electronics) – D09:
Candidates should have an ITI (NCVT/SCVT) Certificate in Electronics Mechanic trade or equivalent Full-Time qualification.
For Post Codes D02 to D05, candidates having B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engineering) in the relevant discipline through Full-Time courses are also permitted. For Post Codes D06 to D09, ITI qualification is mandatory and higher qualification without the required ITI qualification will not be considered.
Only Full-Time Regular Courses will be considered. The required qualifications must be from a UGC-recognized University/Deemed University or an AICTE-approved course from the concerned institution/council, wherever applicable.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for all the above posts is 28 years as on 10 September 2026.

Cumulative age relaxation for one or more applicable categories is allowed. However, the maximum upper age of candidates cannot exceed 50 years, including all possible age relaxations.Only Indian Nationals above 18 years of age are eligible to apply. The cut-off date for determining eligibility and other conditions is 10 September 2026.
Salary and Place of Posting
For Supervisor-I posts, the pay scale is Rs. 37,000-1,15,000 (S1) with an initial basic pay of Rs. 37,000/-. For Junior Maintainer posts, the pay scale is Rs. 18,250-59,200 (NS3) with an initial basic pay of Rs. 18,250/-.
Apart from Basic Pay, selected candidates will also receive Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), perks and allowances under the applicable rules.
The selected candidates may be posted at any NCRTC office, workplace or project unit, or at subsidiaries/Joint Ventures of NCRTC. They may also be assigned duties according to the business requirements of the Company, including shift operations.
NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process for NCRTC Recruitment 2026 will consist of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Medical Fitness Test
Candidates who qualify in the CBT as per the required merit will be called for the medical fitness test. The medical standard required for Post Codes D01 to D05 is A-3, while the required standard for Post Codes D06 to D09 is B-1.
The first-time medical examination expenses will be borne by NCRTC. However, expenses for a second medical examination or re-examination, if required in certain cases, will be borne by the candidate.
NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Exam Pattern
The Computer Based Test (CBT) will contain 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. Each correct answer will carry 01 mark and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The duration of the CBT will be 90 minutes.

The syllabus of the CBT will be hosted separately on the NCRTC website. Candidates can choose to appear in the CBT in either Hindi or English. Further selection will be made on the basis of merit after considering the applicable qualifying requirements.
The CBT test centre options include Delhi-NCR, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kanpur, Agra, Vadodara, Indore, Thane, Pune, Guwahati, Raipur, Cuttack, Harohalli, Jaipur and Patiala. Candidates have to give preference for five cities while filling the application form.
