Age Limit: The age limit for UPESSC UP PRT Recruitment 2026 is 21-40 Years for Assistant Teacher Urban (for Attached Primary, minimum age is 21 years and superannuation age is 62 years). The cutoff date for the calculation of the age limit is 01.07.2026. Age Relaxation will be given as per the rules.
Pattern & Marks: The written examination will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 360 marks (3 marks per correct answer).
Duration: 2 Hours (120 minutes).
Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect or multiple-marked answer.
Medium: Bilingual (Hindi and English).
Tie-Breaking Formula: In case of tied marks, ranking precedence will follow: (1) Higher Graduation percentage, (2) Higher Teacher Training qualification percentage, (3) Candidate older in age.
Score Normalization: If the examination is conducted across multiple shifts due to high candidate volume, score normalization will be implemented in accordance with Commission Notification No. शि०से०आयोग/2018/2025-26 dated 26.02.2026.
